The London Electronic Arts Festival 6th-7th March 2015 Tobacco Dock is a cultural celebration of electronic music, art, technology and digital futurism.
Big Fish Little Fish will be presenting a room on the Friday afternoon for children to engage with the electronic arts. Korg will run a synth workshop for children aged 3 and over while anyone from 0-90 can play with the interactive light projections of Cariad Interactive. Soundtracked by an eclectic mix of music provided by Joe Muggs (Boiler Room) with a small stage to dance on for the little ones and a bubble machine to add to the ambience there will be free Happy Monkey smoothies and Bear snacks whilst you relax, play and enjoy the creative, social atmosphere. Sessions are 1hour long and the first two are reserved for schools.
Admittance only with children, parents must remain with their children at all times. Tickets: children FREE, adults £4 available via Buy Tickets button
We are thrilled to be closing the Imagine Festival with a big, free rave in the Clore Ballroom at the Festival Hall on Sunday 22nd Feb from 2-4pm.
The event is unticketed, and free for everyone who comes along but obviously there is a limit to the capacity of the ballroom – we’ve had a great deal of interest in this event and it will be very popular.
We’ll do everything we can to make sure you have a great time – DJ Food has prepared a fantastic set, we’ll have glitter cannons, bubbles, a parachute dance and craft tables where children can make and decorate neon rave headbands.
We suggest that those with small babies bring slings so you can dance hands-free (and maybe hold a drink!).
Please contact Mini Vault Festival if you want to be put on the returns list for tickets.
Tickets on sale for more March and April parties on sale next week. x
It’s going to be a brilliant weekend – hope to see a lot of you in East and South London. x
Still reeling from the sold out success of the first BFLF of the year in the new Islington venue where BFLF went Total Techno and the BFLFers loved it. This weekend there are two Enchanted Forest parties on – one in Stratford which is now completely sold out (there will not be any tickets on the door) and one in Balham which looks like it will be Sold Out too – so please do hurry if you want to come along but don’t have a ticket yet to avoid disappointment.
For tickets for Balham please click HERE.
There’s obviously a large bunch of family ravers out there enjoying the parties so you’ll be pleased to know that we’ve now got March and April dates booked in the Islington, Balham and Hackney venues. Tickets on sale this week.
We’re also rocking up at the Imagine Children’s Festival at the Southbank Centre on 22nd February and will be presenting a family room at the London Electronic Arts Festival on Friday 6th March where children can take part in a Korg synth workshop, play with interactive light projections by Cariad Interactive or just dance about to a mix by Joe Muggs (Boiler Room) – you can get tickets HERE.
On top of all this I’m delighted to say that, to celebrate the launch of a brand new set of 105 Super Species cards, our friends at BEAR Nibbles have given us a hamper of Yoyos to give away to one lucky BFLFer. Our kids love BEAR Yoyos and what’s great is that they’re 100% pure fruit with no added sugar or concentrate. There’s a rafflecoptor link thingy below so you can enter in various ways – competition ends Wednesday 18th February. Good luck and see you on the dance floor!
