I am very sorry to inform you that the BFLF party at Earl Haig Hall Crouch End on 26th April has been cancelled. Yesterday afternoon I was emailed that the venue owners Antic London have decided not to permit any more ticketed events at the premises with immediate effect. At such short notice I have decided not to seek a replacement venue. I am absolutely gutted by this and am really sorry for all of you who were looking forward to coming along to this party.
All ticket holders were informed this morning by email and offered a full refund or a free transfer to the Camp Bestival/BFLF party on 18th May in Hackney Wick with Felix (Hot Chip) and Camp Bestival DJs playing and all the usual BFLF fun for the “Travelling Circus Tour” 2-4:30pm.
Both the DJs due to play (Andy Dobson/Digitonal and Ben Smith) will be playing BFLF parties in the new season (from September) and Digitonal has produced a BFLF mix that I will post on the website – so you can rave away to his set anyway!
I apologise hugely for this inconvenience. Love Hannah x
Look at these beauties! Just arrived – the new BFLF childrens’ T shirts. In ages 1-8 years and in yellow or grey. They cost £10 (plus p&p where applicable). If you would like to reserve one to pick up at a party or when we are out flyering in Brixton, Balham or Crouch End, or if you would like one sent to you – please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
We have three parties coming up in April all with the dress-up theme “Dream A Little Dream” so get your smartest jimjams or onesies on for the comfiest rave yet. Firstly the Bedford in Balham on Sunday 6th April with Danny ‘Altered Natives’ on the decks then Brixton JAMM on Saturday 12th with Tony Thorpe (Moody Boyz) and last but not least we are at the Earl Haig Hall on Sat 26th with Andy Dobson (Digitonal).
For our Brixton and Crouch End crowds, this is your last party of the season – we’ll be back in September bigger and better than ever after a summer popping up at festivals in London and beyond. For tickets click the ‘buy tickets’ button on the right.
Unbelievable lineups for March and two new venues! First off is Mixmaster Morris headlining in The Bedford, Balham 2nd March with support from Will Nicol, followed by dubstep legend Hatcha at Brixton JAMM on 15th March and then Si Begg rounding the BFLF month off at The Earl Haig Hall Crouch End. Amazing.
BFLF has two events this month, either end of the February half term week. The theme for both parties is “Where the Wild Things Are”
Kicking off the festivities, on Sat 15th Feb in Brixton we are joined by broken beat pioneer Mark Force and Mixmag’s dub guru Joe Muggs - it’s our last party at the Effra Social so don’t miss out on the original BFLF experience – you’ll be able to tell your grandchildren you were there…
Sat 22nd Feb sees us in Crouch End at the fabulous Earl Haig Hall. We’re really excited to have Jonny Trunk (Trunk Records) who’ll be weaving some of his cult soundtracks and exotica into the mix. The lovely Miss JT (Secret Garden Party, Uncle Bob’s Wedding Reception) will be playing the first half of the party – expect everything from Andrew WK to Martha Reeves, not forgetting of course plenty of old school rave tunes to keep those glowsticks waving in the air.
There are a few tickets remaining for both events – all our parties are sell-outs so get yours now, click the ‘Buy Tickets’ link to the top right of this page.
BFLF are pleased to announce our new third monthly venue – The Bedford, Balham. The first party will be Sunday 2nd March and Mixmaster Morris will be headlining. The next parties will be on Sunday 6th April and Sunday 11th May. Tickets now on sale via BUY TICKETS button on right.
