SOLD OUT NOTTINGHAM 2nd birthday! ‘Animal Fantastical’ family rave with DJ SS

Calling all you party animals!  Join in family rave fun as award winning Big Fish Little Fish return to Nottingham at Glee Club to celebrate our 2nd birthday in the city with an ‘Animal Fantastical’ themed rave on Saturday 25th November from 1.30-4.00pm.

It’s a Drum & Bass special with our headliner and total D&B legend DJ SS (Formation records) plus support from DJ Mouse (South Notts Soul Society) playing a more eclectic set of house/breaks/old skool to get you dancing on the multi-sensory dance floor with glitter cannons, bubbles and giant parachute dance.

Craft tables with themed crafts, giant colouring mural and playdoh table. Play area with tents and tunnels and baby chill out space with mats and small ball pool. Licensed bar, free tattoo transfers and glow sticks. We’ll have Glee kitchen’s delicious cakes and savouries and the nice lolly company’s handmade and all natural ice lollies to cool down with.

Family fun for the post-rave generation of parents – helping them to be responsibly irresponsible since 2013. Our raves are designed to be as much fun for the adults as they are the children, and are social, daft, anarchic and creative spaces for all the family to enjoy.

For this event we’re teaming up with Lonely Planet Kids, who are launching two new books later this year and they will be sponsoring our craft areas for our ‘Animal’ themed parties happening across the UK and Australia. Find out more about the launches here: https://www.bigfishlittlefishevents.com/big-fish-little-fish-x-lonely-planet-kids-book-launches/

Optional (but very much encouraged!) fancy dress: Party animals!

For families with younger children (8’s and under) though older siblings are welcome. Parents remain responsible for their children at all times. Adults are not admitted unless accompanied by a child. A max of 3 children per adult. A max of 4 adults per child (and such groups must be pre-approved by emailing infoem@bigfishlittlefishevents.co.uk before buying tickets). Tickets are non-refundable but if anybody with tickets finds they cannot attend a sold-out event please email infoem@bigfishlittlefishevents.co.uk and BFLF will attempt to put you in touch with people seeking to buy tickets.

How loud will it be?
BFLF sets the volume lower than at normal nightclubs. While it is still loud, it is within safe limits as set out by the World Health Organisation – and it is monitored throughout the event. It’s up to you if you want to bring ear defenders, although most parents don’t. However, if your child is particularly sensitive to noise or if you want them to nap during the event you might want to consider it.
